At the MVP Global Summit, MVPs receive access to exclusive technical content, participate in direct feedback sessions, and meet with Microsoft executives, product teams, and other MVPs from around the world. The MVP Global Summit typically features hundreds of technical sessions in which MVPs provide real-world insights and feedback to Microsoft product teams.

2009 MVP Global Summit

Microsoft hosted the 2009 MVP Global Summit March 1-4, 2009 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Seattle, and at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington.

The summit encompassed more than 30 optional side sessions, over 600 technical deep dive sessions, five keynote addresses, and several evening events combining great food, fun, drink, networking, and even singing!

The summit started and ended with optional side sessions covering topics ranging from Windows Azure Present and Future to Social Networking and Messenger. Some of the more popular technical deep dive sessions were Silverlight: SL3 Core Runtime Preview, CSD/BizTalk: A Lap Around Oslo, and SharePoint Services: The New SharePoint User Experience.

As for the keynotes, we were pleased to be joined by a range of top-level Microsoft executives who also engaged in live Q&A with our MVPs:
