Overview

Microsoft offers a variety of dedicated resources to help Microsoft MVPs maximize their MVP Award experience, expand their personal networks, and increase their technical expertise.

The Microsoft MVP Lead

All MVPs have an MVP Lead, a Microsoft employee who is the MVPs' dedicated point of contact with the Microsoft MVP Award Program. The MVP Lead is the MVPs' advocate, keeping them informed of news, events, and opportunities within the MVP Award Program and in Microsoft, both locally and around the world.

The MVP Members Web site

MVPs have exclusive access to a Web site that provides access to MVP Award benefits, information, and updates. This Web site enables MVPs to meet and collaborate with each other easily.

Events

  • MVP Global Summit: The Microsoft MVP Global Summit provides MVPs and Microsoft employees with the opportunity to build relationships and learn from each other. With more than 400 technical sessions and a variety of networking opportunities, the MVP Global Summit includes executive keynote speakers, various product group activities, and technical and Q&A sessions.
  • Regional Events: The MVP Award Program sponsors events in different regions around the world. These events provide MVPs and local Microsoft employees with the opportunity to network and to share their expertise. Regional events may include an executive guest keynote speaker (in person or virtual), technical and Q&A sessions, and several social activities.
  • Local Events: MVPs may also have the opportunity to meet at Microsoft's local field offices. These events may offer content in the MVPs' language, increasing the opportunities for a truly local connection.
  • Virtual Events: MVPs receive several invitations each year to attend online events. These events might be in the format of an online chat or a webcast, or they might use conferencing technology such as Live Meeting.
